Reliance Jio has announced the launch of Jio GigaFiber broadband service on 5th September. The scheme comes with a bundled offer providing a combo pack of broadband connection, TV set-top box and a landline phone connection.

The Jio GigaFiber broadband package will be priced from Rs 700 per month and will go up to Rs 10,000 for premium class customers.

Reliance Jio has also launched a Jio Welcome offer that will provide the users who subscribe to its annual plans with an HD or 4K LED TV and a 4K set-top box for free.

 

The Set Top Box (STB) will provide services that you have never experienced before. There will be a host video calling; in which you can call 4 people at a time. Free video calling for subscribers, voice calls will be absolutely free, unlimited international calling pack at Rs 500.

It will also include Console Quality Games, for example user can play many games like PUBG, Football 2019, etc.

The Jio Set Top Box will be compatible with all popular gaming controllers.

Leading gaming companies have teamed up with Reliance Jio. The companies such as Microsoft Game Studios, Riot Games, Tencent Games, Gameloft. It supports multi-player and social gaming with anyone from anywhere across the world.

Premium users of the Jio Fibre will get access to a yet-to-be-launched OTT platform by Jio, called ‘Jio First Day First Show’. The platform will allow users to watch the movies on the same day it is released. The launch date for this platform is said to be in mid-2020.

The speed of monthly and forever plan will start from 100 Mbps up to 1 Gbps

The speed also depends on what plans and top-up you are taking.

Once the entire data is over of the plan that has been activated then the speed will automatically reduce to 1 Mbps.

Jio GigaFiber will offer a maximum of 1GBps speeds on select plans.

The users will have to make a refundable security deposit of Rs 2,500 to get the router or ONT device.
